Two of the greatest passions in life are art and science. In the world of 25 year old Nate Lam, they are synonymous and symbiotic. As an emerging photographer during undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, Nate honed his professional and artistic skills on the rough streets of LA. Imaginate Studios opened its doors soon later specializing in studio, editorial, and commercial stock photography. As his career goals took a turn, his savvy for photography followed. Nate was accepted into the DVM program at Michigan State University in 2005 and is currently in his third year. Currently, Nate is a pioneer in artistic medical photography. Imaginate Studios is currently closed for business, but open for scientific creativity.

Nate is an avid golfer, traveler, and skier who enjoys spending his spare days with his 3 dogs Sadie, Ritz, and Cali. He has loved every moment with his girlfriend of 6 years Kristin Yata who shares his passion for animals and photography. He hopes to pursue a residency in small animal surgery and has special interests in minimally invasive surgery and cardiology.
